Salute to Veterans Air Show was held Memorial Day 2009 at Columbia, MO. The purpose of the show is to salute and honor Veterans from past and present service.
If you are one of the performers or sponsors that brought a plane to the show and would like a copy of the file of some of the photos, I would be glad to send you a file copy N/C to get prints from.

Thank you, Mary and all of the others who left nice comments too. But you and all the committee Chairmen and all the vounteers are the ones that did the real work and should be the ones that are saluted. I just documented all your hard work so you would realize how much you and the rest did and you have been doing it for 21 years. My hat is off to you and all of the rest of your crew for such a noble effort. I know the Vets have appreciated it because the ones I talked to said so.
I do strongly support what you do with the Salute to Veterans to show support for past. present, and future Veterans. I am grateful for the opportunity to help in some small way. I am not an expert historian but I have read enough WW II history to realize what it would have been like had not our Vets stepped forward. It would probably have been 60 years of the Bataan March. Our present and future Vets are deserving of the support you are giving them too with the terrorist situation, North Korea, and Iran wanting to act like 1942 Japan and Germany. Let's hope it doesn't come to that but if it does, there is no doubt they will be ready. All of them that I talked to are dedicated and patriotic. God bless them all.

Dear Don: You are a treasure beyond price. The photos are magnificent. But most important is that you know and understand our Mission: "Solely to Honor and Remember Those Who Served, Those Currently Serving in Our Armed Forces Guard, Reserves and our Allies". Our 3,000 volunteers and 100 Committee Chairmen who work all year long (none of us are paid and the Airshow and Parade are FREE since we invite the public as our guests)join me in saluting YOU.
