The Aerocar

The Aerocar

Molt Taylor's Aerocar design flown at Osh Kosh 2011 by owner Ed Sweeney. Five of the six Aerocars that were built are still in existence but Ed Sweeney's is the only Aerocar in flyable condition. At one time it had belonged to TV actor Bob Cummings and was freqently showcased on his show "Love that Bob". Bob Cummings gave rides in the Aerocar to Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable.

Ed's son soled in the Aerocar on his 16th birthday to get his pilots license and then drove the Aerocar to the licensing Dept and took his driving license test in the Aerocar to become the only person in the world to do so.
