F-16 Incident

F-16 Incident

Photos by guest photographer: Cornelis deKoe

The pilot can be seen running from the F-16 shortly after it came to a stop. This is a reminder of the old adage "I'm a bomb expert, if you see me running TRY to keep up!!" Most didn't heed this advice and instead ran towards the F-16 to see what happened.

Jets carry Hydrazine to power the APU in case of engine failure to maintain hydraulics and electric. Hydrazine is a chemical that can kill within a minute if it is breathed or if it gets on your skin. It would be wise to follow the pilot's lead and RUN!!!!.
