Thanks for visiting and looking at my aviation photos. Aviation and photography are two of my favorite things so I decided to combine them. Please feel welcome to leave comments. I would like to hear what you like or don't like.

I primairly cover aviation events in the Midwest such as air shows, airport open houses, RC meets, museums, etc. However, there are many other events such as EAA, Blakesburg, Gathering of Mustangs, etc that create a desire to travel. After covering an event I put out an E-Newsletter article with photos describing the experience of the event. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please contact me. All I need is your email address and an interest in aviation for you to recieve a copy by email. There is no charge for the E-Newsletter.

In 2009 I hope to attend EAA and either the Stearman Rally in Galesburg, IL or the Reno Air Races, maybe both. The site is new so check back often as there are many more galleries to be added as time permits, nearly a dozen just from 2008 alone.

Don you are amazing with your camera. I visit your website on a regular basis and enjoy all your pictures.
Keep up the good work and I hope to visit with you again soon at one of the R/C IMAA or Warbird events.
I just want to leave you with a big "Attaboy".
Now I need to practice flying straight and level to give you a Photo-op.
Take care my friend.

Your photos are the best. I was looking at the CAF 2008 and you had one that you ask for identification of aircraft. I looked up the tail number (N50573) photo #21 and it is licensed as a TaylorCraft model DCO-21 to a gentleman in Paola KS. FAA tail number look up on internet.

Don, I really appreciate your time and effort in making these pictures available for us to enjoy. Being an aviation nut since I can remember it's great to be able to remember the great airplanes of my generation. Blakesburg pictures are fantastic of an era gone by.
Thanks Don,
Jim Van Loo
